A&A Lingua Translation Bureau was established in autumn 1999. Our flexible and actively developing company has dedicated itself to offering high-quality translation and language advisory services to institutions, businesses and private persons who expect efficient and professional handling of their materials. The orientation of our translators to specific spheres of activity, availability of a wide range of professional consultants, and in-house editing of all translated texts guarantee that the quality of our services matches your high expectations.

A&A Lingua Translation Bureau is a member of the Association of Estonian Translation Companies.

The activities of the bureau are coordinated by:

  • Triin Liik (Tallinn Pedagogical University, Department of Philology, reviewer-editor, BA 2005) - project manager;  
  •  Martin Rünk (Tartu University, Faculty of Philosophy, Cultural Studies, BA 2005) - project manager; 
  • Kristopher Rikken (The Baltic Times 1994–1997, Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translation department, 1994) - English, editing and proofreading;
  •  Anne Lindvere (Tartu University, Department of Estonian and Finno-Ugric Linguistics, BA 2005) Estonian;
  •  Mari Meidla (Tallinn University, Department of Philology, Estonian philology, BA 2006) - editing and proofreading;
  •  Margit Põldma (Tallinn Pedagogical University, Department of Philology, Estonian philology, MA 2001) - editing and proofreading;
  • Merit Altrov (2003–2004 Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union, Luxembourg, 1997–1999 PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers&Lybrand, 1994–1997 Concordia International University Estonia, 1992–1994 Parliament Chancellery) - materials in the fields of law and economics;
  • Kristina Remmel (1994–1999 Estonian Television, 1993–1995 Channel 2, 1991–1993 Trenton State College, USA) - advertising and cultural materials, film translations;
  • Harri Altroff (Oxford University, UK, D.Phil. 1999, Tartu University, B.Sc. 1993) - materials in the fields of science and technology.
